ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday said that Afghan President Asharaf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah will visit Pakistan soon.
He was talking to media after returning from Afghanistan. A Parliamentary delegation headed by Ayaz Sadiq visited Afghanistan. During the visit, the delegations met Afghan President, Chief Executive, ministers, Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of Upper House of Afghan Parliament.
The NA speaker said that Afghanistan and Pakistan were guarantor of each others’ peace. He added that they had gone to Afghanistan to open the closed doors.
He added that during the meeting they met Afghan leadership and the meetings were held in cordial atmosphere.
Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan wanted the stalled talks in Afghanistan should be restarted. He added that during meetings bother sides expressed reservations on many issues.
