Forces foil terrorism plan in Quetta and North Waziristan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Army and security forces operation Radd-ul-Fasaad continued and forces recovered a huge cache of weapons and explosive material from Datta Khel North Waziristan, while a major terrorism plan was foiled, whereas five illegal foreign residents were captured in Karachi.

According to ISPR, Security Forces carried out operation in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, during which forces recovered a huge cache of weapons and explosive material, while the terrorists had escaped after leaving the weapon in Sherani village.

Police and FC, after getting info of a suspicious thing in Sabzal area of Quetta, cordoned off the area and called the Bomb Disposal Squad after blocking the relevant adjoining roads.

BDS immediately carried out operation and defused the bomb. According to the sources, bomb was homemade and was around four to five kilogram heavy. RPO and DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema has announced to pay cash prize to the person who informed regarding the bomb.

Crackdown against illegal foreign residents of Karachi has been accelerated and police arrested five illegal foreign citizens after carrying out operation in Saudabad, Liaquatabad, F. B. Industrial area.
