ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has demanded SC to make JIT report public. He said that JIT has admitted, in its report, that they were being stopped to work freely and the JIT is facing hurdles.
“The report of the team should be made public so that people know about the about the tactics the rulers are applying against it,” Imran said and reiterated that the PML-N first discredited the team and then boycotted it. “To impede the course of the team’s probe is also a crime.”
Talking to media ,PTI Chairman again reiterated its claimed that he was offered Rs 10 billion and agent, who was appointed to placate me, was offered Rs two billion but he refused to accept their offer.
“When they failed to strike deal with me they started attacks on JIT” Imran said adding that his party never expressed no-trust on JIT.
Commenting on Qatari prince letter he said, “Qatari prince will never come Pakistan while his letter will be thrown into Ravi.”
Replying to a question over his wealth, he said that he brought legal and Halal money to Pakistan while country’s money being sent abroad through money laundering. He blamed to giving protection one person whole system being put on risk.
To a question, the PTI chairman said his supporters will remain orderly, but if the PML-N takes to streets during the PM’s appearance before the JIT, then his party will follow suit.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should resign before the Joint Investigation Team’s session on June 15 (Thursday), for which he has been summoned to record his statement.
The people who are subordinate to the PM and ruling party would not be able to investigate the matter, said the PTI chief.
Imran said that Nawaz Sharif is a criminal and facing allegation of money laundering which is a serious offence.
“No one trusts a PM abroad, who is facing criminal investigation back at home,” said Imran, adding that the Qatari letter is also a hoax, as the royal family members have refused to appear before the JIT.
