ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced Saturday that his party would hold intra-party elections on June 11.
The decision, he said, was approved by the PTI’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) which met in the federal capital.
Speaking on this occasion, Khan urged his party’s men to set aside their internal differences and focus on successful holding of the elections.
Later speaking to media, he again called for the government to make the Inquiry Commission’s report regarding Panama Leaks public.
“There is no difference in Memogate and Dawn Lealks. Instead, Dawn Leaks issue was more serious because it supported Narendra Modi’s anti-Pakistan narrative,” he said.
“This is not an issue between the government and army. It’s a national security issue,” he added.
