LAHORE: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived here
on Thursday evening from Islamabad, Business92 reported (Lahore Updates).
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif accorded a warm welcome
to Turkish President at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Members of the provincial cabinet and senior civil officers were
also present on the occasion.
Two children also clad in traditional costumes presented a bouquet to the dignitary.
The Turkish President, all the way from airport to Hazoori Bagh
was also welcomed by people. Girls were standing in a queue carrying
Pakistan and Turkey flags. The city was also decorated with flowers and lights.
Moreover, colourful cultural event was organized at Hazoori Bagh where
renown singers and musicians performed.
Furthermore, special dishes from makhni karhai, mughlai biryani, seekh kebab
and hareesa to desserts gulab jaman and gajar ka halwa was served to 500 guests.
