Eight martyred as Indian troops attack bus near LoC

AZAD KASHMIR: Indian troops violated ceasefire at Line of Control (LoC)
and opened indiscriminate firing and shelling on a passenger bus near
Neelam valley, claiming lives of eight innocent passengers, Business92 reported.

According to ISPR, the bus was targeted near Dhudnial. The Indian
forces also attacked ambulances with rockets which were transporting
injured people.

PM expresses grief

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also strongly denounced
unprovoked firing by Indian security forces on a civil bus along the LoC
near Neelum Valley.

 In a statement, he also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and
grant of courage to the loved ones of the Martyrs to bear this irreparable
loss with fortitude.

The Prime Minister said that the valiant personnel of Armed Forces who
embraced martyrdom on Wednesday are held in highest esteem.

He said despite our exercise of maximum restraint in the wake of continuing
naked Indian aggression along LoC resulting in the martyrdom of innocent
civilians including children and women, India has failed to comprehend the
gravity of the situation.

Prime Minister also said no responsible state can permit targeting innocent
civilians in general and ambulances carrying the injured in particular.

In fact, India is trying to divert the attention of the international community
from the grave human rights violations and atrocities being committed by the
Indian security forces in the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

Furthermore, he said Pakistan will never abandon their Kashmiri brethren and will continue
to support them in their just and legitimate freedom struggle for their right to
self-determination in accordance with the UNSC Resolutions.

AJK President condemns attack

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has also strongly condemned the
firing on bus by the Indian troops and termed it as extreme cowardness.

In a statement, he also said Indian troops are targeting the innocent civilians
along Line of Control and urged the international community to take notice of it.

Minister Kashmir affairs says

Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Barjees Tahir has also strongly
condemned the Indian forces firing on passenger bus in district Neelam
on Wednesday.

In a statement, he also said the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are being
punished for standing by their brothers in held Kashmir.

He further said the Indian Forces will never can suppressed the voice of freedom
by such brutal acts.

The Minister also said that Pakistan will continue its effective measures to raise
the issued on international fora.
