PTI postpones Nov 2 lockdown show, to celebrate ‘victory’ tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) has postponed tomorrow’s
(November 02) lockdown Islamabad show after the Supreme Court announced
the Panama case to be heard on daily basis, Business92 reported.

Moreover, Imran Khan has lauded the decision of the apex court and said the Supreme
Court has summoned Prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif where,
he said, PM will asked to explain how did he get such huge assets.

This is the first time in history when the most powerful has been asked
to show up in court and tell the larger bench about the assets being maintained offshore.

PTI to celebrate ‘victory’ tomorrow

Terming the apex court’s decision victory of PTI and the oppressed
people of the country, Imran Khan also said, “We will thank almighty Allah
for this victory and will celebrate it tomorrow (Wednesday) at Parade ground.”

Meanwhile, PTI chief also asked the party workers to return to their home
and reach Parade ground tomorrow to celebrate the victory.

“One million people would celebrate victory tomorrow,” Imran Khan talking
to a news conference at Bani Gala further said.

He further added said the mega event would be peaceful and the celebrations
would kick off by 1400hrs.

Imran Khan lauded Pervez Khattak

Imran Khan, during the media talk, appreciated Chief Minister of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak for his determination to gather workers and
reach the federal capital for protest.

“I appreciate Pervez Khattak because he and his workers sustained the torture
of Punjab police and they were badly attacked with the tear gas shells,” Imran Khan remarked.

Furthermore, the PTI has strongly demanded immediate release of his
party workers and early removal of containers and barricades from the roads.
