LONDON: British government will host a high level meeting today to mitigate tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Adviser on Foreign Affairs to the Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz and Afghan National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar will participate in the meeting. While special envoy Mark Lyall Grant will represent the British government in the high level meeting.
Pak-Afghan tension and issues of border management will be discussed in the meeting. Relations between the two countries soured after Pakistan sealed its border with Afghanistan following a spate of terror attacks in February.
