RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers for the eternal peace of the Pakistan Army
troops, who were martyred in today’s terrorist assault in Mohmand Agency,
have been offered, the army’s public affairs department said Monday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), funeral prayers
for the soldiers who embraced martyrdom (shahadat) while valiantly repulsing terrorist attack from across the border in Mohmand Agency were offered today at Peshawar garrison.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor and chief minister, Corps Commander Lt General Nazir Ahmed Butt and other senior serving Civil and military officers and soldiers attended the funeral prayers.
Bodies of the martyrs were taken to their native areas where they buried with full military honour.
