Nisar lashes out at ‘sit in party’ in Chakri speech

CHAKRI: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lashed out at opposition parties calling for change during a speech in the city, on Saturday.

According to details, the Interior Minister took to task all parties calling for change, stating that change could only come through development.

“Do not pay attention to those chanting slogans for change,” he said. “They are trying to fool the masses through such slogans,” he said.

Nisar said that progress came through development, not protest sit-ins. He also lashed out at those political parties that criticise him for speaking on issues regarding Islam.

“Some political parties criticise me for raising my voice for the principles of Islam. If you are proud of being secular; of being non-believers, then I am proud to be pro-Islam,” he said.

However, Nisar said that he would protect those who were wrongly accused or criticised in light of their own religion.
