KARACHI: Rangers has arrested three target killers, a Muttahida
Qaumi Movement (MQM-London) alleged terrorist and busted a four-member
cyber-gang in separate targeted operations in different areas of the city (Karachi rangers News).
Rangers arrested an accused Atique alias Jhinga form Shoe Market in Garden
area and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition over his tip off.
Rangers also said that Atique was affiliated with the militant wing of MQM-London
which was supported by Indian intelligence agency RAW. The accused was also involved
in target killing, extortion and other heinous crimes.
On the other hand, Police also arrested two gang war target killers in Chkiwara, area
of Lyari. The two target killers were identified as Zahid alias Makhi and Oqab alias Abu.
New Karachi police also arrested a target killer Abdul Qadeer and recovered weapons from
his possession. He also confessed of four murders.
Rangers spokesperson also said that a four-member gang involved in cyber crimes
was arrested in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The spokesperson further said that the accused were
planning to steal money from different banks across the world in collaboration
with hackers. Furthermore, the accused were identified as Muhammad Javeed Khan, Shah Nawaz Hussain
Siddique, Salahuddin and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah.
