KARACHI: Sindh government has given go ahead for extension in Ranger’s powers for 90 days in a cabinet meeting held under the chair of chief minister Murad Ali Shah.
Addressing to cabinet meeting chief minister said that Rangers have played vital role to get rid of target killing and extortionists and hope Rangers will continue play positive role to restore peace in the city.
“Karachi operation yielded positive results and it helped to overcome target killing,” chief minister said adding that government was trying to train on modern basis. CM claimed that the police performance being improved day by day.
According to CM house spokesperson six provincial ministers – Nisar Khuro, Manzoor Wasan, Mir Hazar Khan Bajarani , Syed Sardar Shah and Jam Khan Shuro – supported the extension in Rangers powers.
