Somalian Counsel General Office Karachi
KARACHI: Unknown dacoits robbed the office of a pharmaceutical company. The police took serious notice of the dacoity as the company’s owner son is honorary Counsel General of Somalia.
Police said that six to seven men barged into the premises of the company late night in the Clifton area. The robbers held the guards hostage and took away four laptops, four mobile phones and LCD with them.
The dacoits remained in the office for two and half hours and took away the recordings of CCTV footage with them.
The African country’s honorary consulate was inaugurated in Karachi last month on March 16, to celebrate 57 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Somalia.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Sindh AD Khwaja took notice of the robbery incident and sought detailed report from DIG South.
