Tayyaba Parents Update
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday sent minor maid Tayyaba to
Pakistan sweet home and ordered the DIG Islamabad police to submit investigation
report in ten days, Business92 reported.
The suo motu notice of child persecution was heard by a two-part seat headed by
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.
During the hearing, Tayyaba’s father, Azam, informed the court that he gave over little girl
to neighbor to be specific Nadra in August 2016. She helped them get some work as a maid.
After a month, they (Tayyaba’sparents) came to know that their little girl had been sent to
Islamabad for work.
“I came to know about torture on Tayyaba through news channels,” he said and included that he
had been confined to a room and his cell phone got grabbed by the judge.
Azam said he pardoned the judge as he needed to get his daughter back.
The summit court sent Tayyaba to sweet home until the affirmation about her genuine guardians.
The Bench requested the investigation officers to submit record of case and to present the last report in ten days.
