Two martyred in Indian unprovoked firing along LoC

RAWALPINDI: India’s border security troops initiated unprovoked heavy weapons including mortar firing targeting civil population along Line of Control (LoC) in Jandrot and Hot spring sector today (Monday).

At least two citizens i.e. Waqar Younas (18) and Asad Ali (19) were martyred in the shelling. Both the martyrs were residents of Bhabra village.

Meantime, three others sustained injuries in the Indian shelling. The injured include  Muhammad Shahbaz (30), resident of Bhabra village, Shumaila Khurshid (35) and Hafsa Shabbir (14), resident of Chakrali village.

Troops of Pakistan Army effectively responded with shelling on posts firing on civilians.

There are reports of damage to Indian posts and casualties in retaliatory fire.
