World Bank lauds Pakistan’s economy, security situation

WASHINGTON: The World Bank has lauded the improving economy and security situation in Pakistan.

The views were made by Annette Dixon, Vice President of World Bank’s South Asia Region during a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

She said that the impacts of growing economy started emerging on the  people of Pakistan and they seemed happy with the current situation.

Ishaq Dar, on the occasion, said that World Bank has been a partner in renewable energy projects in Pakistan.
