Decision Review System (DRS) News
DUBAI: Decision Review System (DRS) has arrived at second edition
of Pakistan Super League (PSL) as the second round (play-off) of the
tournament begins today.
PSL has become the first T20 league in the history of cricket to use the review system.
According to PSL’s verified Twitter account, each team will be allowed
to make one review request per innings.
“DRS arrives at the #HBLPSL party! Each team is allowed to make
one Player Review request per innings. Let the games begin!,” the
Twitter account read.
The decision to implement DRS comes after umpires were scrutinised
for making poor on-field judgments multiple times in the tournament.
The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) broadcast has been widely acknowledged
as world class with some new innovations which have further enriched the
viewer experience for cricket fans all around the world.
