ISLAMABAD: On the eve of Pakistan’s final clash with arch-rivals India, PTI Chairman Imran Khan Saturday advised Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed to bat first.
In a message on Twitter ahead of the Champions Trophy final, Khan said that Pakistan must look to bat first as bowling was their strength.
“Pakistan’s strength is bowling; India’s is batting. My humble advice to Sarfaraz is: play to our strength; try & bat first and build a decent total,” he said.
“Then use the dual pressure of Pakistan’s varied bowling attack and run rate on Indian batting,” he added.
Khan maintained if India batted first and got big score it would put Pakistan under pressure from accurate Indian bowling.
“Good Luck Team Pakistan,” he concluded.
