FICA raises questions over security of PSL Final at Lahore

LAHORE: Questioning the security at the last of Pakistan Super League (PSL)
at Lahore as reported by Pakistan Cricket Board the Federation of International
Cricketers’ Associations has requested that international players rejected to be a part of the
occasion for their own safety.

In its report the FICA has notified that the risk level in Pakistan stays “at a to a great level
elevated state” and that “a satisfactory level of member security and safety can’t be normal
or guaranteed.”

PCB, the coordinator of the PSL, had declared the last to be held at Lahore on March 7, as
arranged, irrespective of whether overseas players participate or not. If they refused to travel,
they will be replaced by the players from Pakistan. Every prior games in the competition
will be played in the UAE.
