TEHRAN:Iran will sign a deal with France’s Total on Tuesday for
the development of gas production at a major offshore field in the Gulf, |
the Iranian oil ministry said (Iran News).
The accord of this $6 billion project would be finalized within six months.
The agreement involves a consortium led by Total, which includes the China
National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Iran’s Petropars. After the deal,
Total would return to Iran after 2012 when the Islamic Republic faced oil embargo
after it announced to conduct nuclear tests.
